Lake Chapala Area and Home Tour Introduction
You’ve seen the pictures and videos, read the articles, and heard countless stories about how Lake Chapala is one of the best places in the world to live.
No amount of research will ever compare to experiencing Lakeside first-hand, though.
When you live in the area as long as we have; you get to know the ins and outs from every possible angle.
Because of our involvement in the community, we’ve also had the unique opportunity to meet a lot of people, over the years – plenty of which were scoping out the area for the first time.
Some were on vacation, others were visiting family, and a good amount had blindly packed their bags, bought/rented property, and were ready to call this place home.
I don’t know about you, but retiring in an area that I haven’t visited yet sounds like an exciting but crazy idea.
Yet, it worked for a lot of people; many of which are still a part of the community and we’re proud to call friends.
But, just like some folks knew that Lakeside was “the place”, others discovered that it simply wasn’t for them.
As beautiful and charming as Lake Chapala is, sometimes it just isn’t for everyone.
That’s why we created the Lake Chapala Area and Home Tour.
What if I told you that there’s a simple and interactive way to get to know Lake Chapala in one day?
Our “Lake Chapala Area and Home Tour” consists of giving you an in-depth look at the area, its different towns, and the real estate market.
Our goal is to show you as much of the area as possible, while we discuss the pros and cons – answering any and all of your questions.
Unlike other tours that are limited to only showing you certain areas and houses for sale – that’s not our objective.
By the time the tour is over, we want you to know everything about the area – both the good and the bad.
Who better to guide you than a father-son team with 70 years combined experience of living in the area?
As the name states, the Lake Chapala Tour consists of two parts.
Part #1: Personalized guided tour of Lake Chapala (East-West), its towns, and popular attractions.
Part #2: In-depth Real Estate home tour composed of a series of hand-picked homes that display the housing diversity in the area.
So, how does it all work? It’s actually very simple.
First, we will pick you up -and the rest of the group- beginning our drive from the East part of Lake Chapala; making our way to the West end.
All tours are done in small groups and require a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 people.
Throughout the drive, we will be sharing valuable information and tips; also answering all of your questions.
The group will be transported in a comfortable, spacious, air-conditioned and reliable vehicle.
During the drive, we will be stopping at a series of interesting homes in each area.
The goal here is for you to get to know the Real Estate market, its architecture, and technicalities.
Once the tour is nearing its end, we will conclude with a delicious, traditional Mexican lunch.
The tour is expected to last approximately 5 hours – it may be longer or shorter though.
When we first decided to offer this tour, our main focus was to make it as entertaining, informative, and complete as possible.
We are confident that you will receive an experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
